I learned not to leave my camera sitting around while living with Kurtis.
I don't know how many times I would come home to find my camera in different places, later discovering that Kurtis had used it just to take pictures of himself. He wouldn't tell me this, i would just notice a series of new closeup pictures taken of Kurtis.
He loved to grab a camera and take a picture of himself.
Erik, his older brother, told me that this was something he had done since he was a kid. Family members would get the pictures developed after a holiday party just to find a series of pictures Kurt had taken of himself while they weren't looking :)
